Kontis Alexios-Patapios

Dr. Kontis Alexios-Patapios is an Assistant Professor specializing in "Tourism Distribution Channels". He holds a PhD in Tourism Marketing (2014) and a Master's Degree in "Tourism Planning, Management and Policy" (2002) from the University of the Aegean.

His research interests and consulting work focus on Strategic Marketing Planning, Tourism Marketing and Services Marketing, as well as the creation and promotion of digital tourism products and services.

As a Scientific Consultant, he has worked for private and public tourism agencies, such as the Ministry of Tourism Development, the Hellenic Tourism Organization (HTO), the Hotel Chamber of Greece (H.E.E.), the Association of Tourist and Travel Agencies in Greece (HATTA) etc. Since 2010, he has been a member of the Tourism Research and Studies Laboratory (ETEM) of the University of the Aegean, participating in a series of research projects.

He has participated as a speaker in development and scientific conferences in Greece and Cyprus, while he has published a series of scientific articles.
