They are eleven CVs of teaching staff and the call for the 2026\u20132027 academic year.<br \/>\nAlternative access: any of these files can be provided in an accessible format on request to the Secretariat (see \u201cFeedback and contact details\u201d).<\/p>\n<h3>2. Third-party content \u2014 outside scope<\/h3>\n<p>The Contact page embeds a <strong>Google map<\/strong>. This content is supplied by a third party and its accessibility is not controlled by the University (Article 37(3) of Law 4727\/2020). The same information is also given <strong>in text<\/strong>: 8 Michalon St., 82132 Chios, Greece.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the <strong>reCAPTCHA<\/strong> service protecting the form is supplied by a third party.<\/p>\n<h2>What already works correctly<\/h2>\n<p>The audit established that the website satisfies the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>language declaration on every page, correctly switching between Greek and English<\/li>\n<li><strong>exactly one first-level heading (H1) on every page<\/strong>, with a correct H2 and H3 hierarchy<\/li>\n<li><strong>alternative text on all images<\/strong>, including the logo<\/li>\n<li><strong>an accessible name on every link<\/strong>, including the social media icons<\/li>\n<li>a descriptive title on every embedded frame<\/li>\n<li>a skip link to the main content<\/li>\n<li>an accessible name on every button<\/li>\n<li>no data presented in pseudo-tables \u2014 information is conveyed with correct semantic structure<\/li>\n<li>full operation over an encrypted connection, with no dependencies that obstruct assistive technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How this statement was prepared<\/h2>\n<p>This statement was prepared on <strong>11 September 2026<\/strong> by <strong>self-assessment<\/strong>, which comprised:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an automated audit using the <strong>WAVE<\/strong> (Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool)<\/li>\n<li>an automated audit of <strong>12 representative pages in a real browser<\/strong> using the <strong>axe-core 4.10<\/strong> engine, across the full set of WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA rules \u2014 including computation of colour contrast ratios<\/li>\n<li>a programmatic check of all published pages for language declaration, alternative texts, frame titles, skip link, heading hierarchy and button naming<\/li>\n<li>a re-audit on 16 September 2026 of 24 pages, in Greek and English, on desktop and mobile, using the axe-core 4.10 engine across the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules, with colour contrast measured on each page as actually rendered<\/li>\n<li>keyboard-only and NVDA screen reader testing on representative pages<\/li>\n<li>a check of the PDF files for accessibility tags<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The statement will be reviewed <strong>at least annually<\/strong> and after any substantial modification of the website.<\/p>\n<h2>Feedback and contact details<\/h2>\n<p>Under <strong>Article 45 of Law 4727\/2020<\/strong>, any interested party has the right to submit observations, to request information on the state of compliance, or to request information that is not accessible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secretariat of the Postgraduate Programme<\/strong> 8 Michalon St., 82132 Chios, Greece MScTourism_Gram@aegean.gr \u00b7 +30 22710 35322 (11:00\u201313:00)<\/p>\n<p>If you need website content in an <strong>alternative accessible format<\/strong>, contact us and we will send it to you.
